What comes with the AQUA VAULT PureX Bottle?
- 1x AQUA VAULT PureX Bottle (750 mL / 25 oz).
- 1x Premium USB-C charging cable.
- 1x User manual.

How does the AQUA VAULT PureX Bottle work?
The PureX Bottle uses advanced UV-C sterilization technology built into the cap to reduce microbial presence in the water and on the bottle's inner surface. To activate, press and hold the touchscreen on top of the cap for 2 seconds. This starts at 3 minutes (180 seconds) purification cycle.
Does the UV-C technology work with hot water?
No. The UV-C technology function is automatically disabled when the water temperature exceeds 58°C (136°F). This safety feature is designed to protect the UV-C LED technology and ensure user safety. For effective purification, use the bottle with cool or room-temperature water.
Is the AQUA VAULT PureX Bottle lab-tested?
Yes, the PureX Bottle has been independently tested by laboratories accredited by CNAS and NABL. Results confirm that it eliminates up to 99.99% of E. coli within just 3 minutes (180 seconds) using advanced UV-C light technology.
Does the AQUA VAULT PureX Bottle clean itself automatically?
No. The advanced UV-C technology provides a "self-cleaning" function, but it must be manually activated by the user. It does not automatically run cycles.
Is the UV-C light safe?
Yes, when used as directed. Never look directly at the UV-C light or activate it without the cap securely attached. UV-C exposure can irritate skin and eyes. Not recommended for children or unsupervised minors.
Can I use the UV-C cap on other bottles?
No. The UV-C cap is specifically designed for AQUA VAULT PureX Bottles. Using it on
other bottles may reduce performance and void safety guarantees.
Can I remove the cap during the UV cycle?
It is not recommended. To stop the cycle, press the touchscreen once before removing the cap. Removing it mid-cycle may interrupt proper sterilization.
How do I charge the PureX Bottle?
Use the included premium USB-C cable. Connect to a USB-C compatible power adapter. Always ensure the cap is completely dry before charging.
How long does the battery last?
A full charge can last up to 2 weeks, depending on usage. A yellow LED will indicate when the battery is low.
What do the LED ring lights mean?
- Blue Ring (glow): Sterilization in progress
- Red Ring (breathing): Charging
- Yellow Ring (glow): Hydration Reminder
- Green Ring (solid): Fully charged
- Light Blue Ring (solid): 0-36*C
- Green Ring (solid): 37-60*C
- Red Ring (solid): 61-99*C
Additional Smart Cap Functions
- When the sterilization cycle is active and interrupted due to unsafe temperature or removal of the cap, the red ring will flash, and the cycle will stop automatically.
- Sterilization cannot be activated if the water temperature exceeds 60°C.
- The red ring may also appear while charging as an indicator.
- During sterilization, internal temperature detection may read approximately 8°C higher than normal due to proximity to the circuit board.
- The lid contains precision electronics and waterproof components. Do not disassemble the cap.
- The outer shaded ring is the touch-sensitive area. The inner screen shows temperature and indicator lights.
Does the PureX Bottle purify unsafe water?
No. The bottle is designed for use with potable (clear, safe-to-drink) water. It does not filter out particles, chemicals, or heavy metals.
Does the PureX Bottle retain temperature?
Yes. It keeps water cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours.
What colors are available?
The PureX Bottle comes in 4 signature shades:
- Shadow Black
- Glacier White
- Himalayan Pink
- Tidal Blue
What type of stainless steel is used?
- Inner chamber: 316 stainless steel (medical/marine grade).
- Outer shell: 304 stainless steel (food-grade, durable finish).
Can I use the PureX Bottle for beverages other than water?
The PureX Bottle is specifically engineered for UV-C purification of water. While it is safe to use with other beverages like tea, coffee, or juice on occasion, we do not recommend it for regular use with sugary or acidic drinks.
If used, please handwash the bottle thoroughly with warm soapy water immediately after each use to maintain hygiene and performance.
Can I put ice in the PureX Bottle?
Yes, adding ice to your PureX Bottle is perfectly safe and won’t damage the bottle. However, keep in mind that large ice pieces may partially block the UV-C light, which works best with direct line-of-sight contact. For optimal purification, we recommend adding ice after the UV-C cycle is complete or using smaller ice cubes.
How often does the PureX Bottle need to be charged? How will I know when the battery is low?
The PureX Bottle delivers impressive performance, running up to 2 weeks on a single charge with typical use approximately 3 to 4 purification cycles per day. It recharges quickly and conveniently via USB-C, ensuring minimal downtime. A built-in battery level indicator keeps you informed, so you’ll always know when it’s time to recharge.
Is the PureX bottle dishwasher safe?
No. Only the bottle body may be handwashed. Never place the UV-C cap in the dishwasher or submerge it in water. Doing so will void the warranty.
Can I travel with my PureX Bottle on a flight?
Yes, you can carry the PureX Bottle on flights, but make sure to empty all liquids before security checks. Due to the built-in rechargeable battery in the cap, it’s recommended to keep the bottle in your carry-on or with you, not in checked luggage, in accordance with airline safety regulations.
Can I put my PureX Bottle in the fridge, microwave, or dishwasher?
- The PureX Bottle is made with double-wall vacuum insulation, so while you can place it in the refrigerator, it won’t significantly chill the contents inside due to its thermal insulation.
- Do not place the bottle in the freezer or microwave, as it may damage the insulation and internal components.
- The PureX bottle itself can be gently hand-washed. However, the UV-C cap contains electronic components and should never be placed in the dishwasher—clean it using a damp cloth instead.
How do I clean my PureX Bottle?
Tip 1: Clean the mouth area regularly
Over time, the mouth area can accumulate oils, lip balm, or food residue. We recommend occasionally wiping it down with warm soapy water to maintain hygiene.
Tip 2: General cleaning for water use
Since the PureX Bottle uses UV-C purification, it stays fresh longer and doesn’t need daily cleaning like traditional bottles. If you’re using it only for water, a thorough hand wash every 3–4 weeks is sufficient. The cap is water-resistant, but always wash it gently by hand, not in a dishwasher.
Tip 3: If using beverages other than water
We recommend using the PureX Bottle only for water to ensure maximum UV-C effectiveness. Drinks like coffee, tea, or juice may stain the interior and interfere with the purification process.
If you do use it for other beverages, clean the bottle immediately with a bottle brush and warm soapy water to prevent stains and maintain performance.
⚠️ Note: Always ensure the cap is fully dry before charging. Never charge the cap while it's wet, to avoid any risk of damage or injury.
