Is PureX Bottle dishwasher safe?
No. Only the bottle body may be handwashed. Never place the UV-C cap in the dishwasher or submerge it in water. Doing so will void the warranty.
Can I microwave or freeze the PureX Bottle?
No. Microwaving or freezing may damage the bottle and internal electronics. This will void your warranty.
How do I clean the PureX UV-C Cap?
Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not rinse or submerge. Avoid harsh chemicals.
Can I charge the PureX Cap while it’s wet?
No. Always dry the cap thoroughly before charging. Charging while wet may cause damage and void the warranty.
How do I remove small marks or scratches?
Use a soft cloth with few drops of alcohol based liquid sanitizer to buff out minor scuffs.
Will the PureX Bottle scratch or dent over time?
Minor cosmetic wear is normal. We recommend using a PureX Bottle Sleeve for added protection.
Is the PureX UV-C cap waterproof?
The cap is IPX7-rated (water-resistant, not waterproof). It can handle splashes but must not be submerged or exposed to excessive moisture.
How should I store the PureX Bottle?
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Allow the bottle to fully air dry with the cap off before storing.
How do I clean the PureX Bottle?
- Clean the exterior with a damp cloth.
- Handwash the interior with mild soap and lukewarm water.
- Always wash the mouthpiece manually.
