What comes with the AQUA VAULT PureX Bottle?

Each AQUA VAULT PureX Bottle order includes 1 PureX Bottle (750 mL / 25 oz), 1 premium USB-C charging cable, and 1 user manual.

How does the PureX Bottle work?

The AQUA VAULT PureX Bottle uses advanced UV-C sterilization technology built into the cap to help reduce microbial presence in the water and on the bottle’s inner surface. To activate it, press and hold the touchscreen on top of the cap for 2 seconds. This starts a 3-minutes (180-second) purification cycle.

Is the PureX Bottle self-cleaning and lab-tested?

Yes. The PureX Bottle offers a self-cleaning function through advanced UV-C technology, but the cycle must be activated manually by the user. It does not run automatically on its own.

Yes, it has also been independently tested by CNAS and NABL accredited laboratories. Test results confirm up to 99.99% elimination of E. coli within 3-minutes using UV-C light technology.

Is the UV-C light safe, and does it work with hot water?

Yes, when used as directed. Never look directly at the UV-C light or activate it without the cap securely attached. UV-C exposure may irritate the eyes and skin.

No. The UV-C function is automatically disabled when the water temperature exceeds 60°C (140°F). This safety feature protects both the user and the UV-C LED technology.

Can I use the UV-C cap on other bottles or remove it during the UV cycle?

No. The UV-C cap is specifically designed for AQUA VAULT PureX Bottles only.
It is also not recommended to remove the cap during an active UV cycle. If needed, press the touchscreen once to stop the cycle before removing the cap.

Does the PureX Bottle purify unsafe water?

No. The bottle is designed for use with potable, clear, safe-to-drink water. It does not filter particles, chemicals, or heavy metals.

Does the PureX Bottle keep drinks hot or cold?

Yes. The PureX Bottle keeps water cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours.

Can I use the PureX Bottle for drinks other than water, and can I add ice?

The PureX Bottle is engineered for UV-C purification of water. It can be used occasionally for beverages like tea, coffee, or juice, but regular use with sugary or acidic drinks is not recommended.

Yes, you can add ice. For best UV-C performance, use smaller cubes or add ice after the UV-C cycle is complete, since large ice pieces may partially block the light.

How do I charge the PureX Bottle, and how long does the battery last?

Use the included premium USB-C cable and connect it to a compatible USB-C power source. Always make sure the cap is completely dry before charging.

A full charge can last up to 2 weeks with typical use, around 3 to 4 purification cycles per day. A yellow LED or battery indicator will let you know when it is time to recharge.

What do the LED ring lights and smart cap indicators mean?

The LED ring lights show the cap’s operating status. A flashing red ring may appear if the sterilization cycle is interrupted due to high temperature or cap removal. The red ring may also appear while charging.

The cap also includes touch controls, temperature detection, and internal electronics. Please do not disassemble the cap.

What materials and colors are available?

The PureX Bottle uses 316 medical/marine grade stainless steel for the inner chamber and 304 food grade stainless steel for the outer shell.

It is available in 4 signature shades: Shadow Black, Glacier White, Himalayan Pink, and Tidal Blue.

Can I travel with my PureX Bottle on a flight?

Yes. You can carry the PureX Bottle on flights, but it should be emptied before security checks. Because the cap contains a rechargeable battery, it is recommended to keep it in your carry-on rather than checked luggage.

What accessories are available for the PureX Bottle?

Official AQUA VAULT accessories include the PureX Travel Sleeve, the USB-C Charging Cable, and the PureX Replacement Cap.

The sleeve is optional, but it helps protect the bottle from scratches, dents, and scuffs during travel, gym use, or daily commuting.

Can I buy replacement accessories, and can I use third-party USB-C cables?

Yes. Official replacement charging cables and replacement caps are available separately.

We recommend using the official AQUA VAULT USB-C cable. Third-party cables may work, but incorrect voltage or poor quality may reduce battery performance or void the warranty.

Are accessories covered under warranty?

Yes. Official AQUA VAULT accessories are covered under a limited one-year warranty.

Can I personalize my PureX Bottle?

Personalization is coming soon. Once launched, you will be able to add custom text engraving such as a name, initials, or short message.

The personalization service is expected to cost an additional INR 999 per bottle.

What personalization options will be available?

Customers will be able to choose from a curated range of fonts and preview their engraving before placing the order.

Personalization must be selected at the time of purchase and cannot be added after a bottle has already been ordered.

Will personalized bottles be returnable, and will they take longer to ship?

Personalized bottles will be non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect.

They may also require 2 to 4 extra business days for processing before shipping.

What is the warranty period, and what does it cover?

All AQUA VAULT products come with a limited one-year warranty from the original purchase date. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, including UV-C malfunction not caused by misuse, touch activation issues, charging faults, and stainless steel structural defects.

What is not covered under warranty?

The warranty does not cover loss or theft, accidental damage, misuse, failure to follow care instructions, normal wear and tear such as scratches, fading, or dents, water damage from improper use, charging the cap while wet, unauthorized repairs, or damage caused by dishwasher, microwave, or freezer use.

What voids the warranty?

Warranty coverage may be voided by misuse or careless handling, charging the cap while wet, submerging the cap, unauthorized repairs or alterations, and using the product in ways that go against the care instructions.

How do I make a warranty claim, and can the warranty be transferred?

To file a warranty claim, email support@aquavault.co with a brief description of the issue, proof of purchase such as your invoice or order ID, and photos or videos if applicable. The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred. Even after the warranty period ends, AQUA VAULT may still assist with troubleshooting, care advice, and replacement parts if available.

How do I clean the PureX Bottle and cap?

Handwash the bottle interior with mild soap and lukewarm water, clean the exterior with a damp cloth, and always wash the mouth area manually. The UV-C cap should only be wiped with a soft, damp cloth. Do not rinse or submerge the cap, and avoid harsh chemicals. If you use the bottle only for water, regular handwashing is still recommended, especially around the mouthpiece.

Is the PureX Bottle dishwasher safe? Can I put it in the microwave, freezer, or fridge?

The bottle is not dishwasher safe as a complete unit. The bottle body may only be hand-washed, and the UV-C cap must never go in the dishwasher or be submerged in water. Do not place the bottle in the microwave or freezer, as this may damage the bottle, insulation, or internal electronics and may void the warranty. It can be placed in the refrigerator, but because of the double-wall insulation, it will not chill the contents quickly.

Can I charge the cap while wet, and is the cap waterproof?

No. The cap must always be completely dry before charging. Charging while wet may cause damage and void the warranty. The cap is IPX7-rated, which means it is water-resistant, not waterproof. It can handle splashes, but it must not be submerged or exposed to excessive moisture.

Will the bottle scratch or dent over time, and how should I store it?

Minor cosmetic wear such as small scratches or dents can happen with normal use. AQUA VAULT Travel Sleeve is recommended for added protection. To store the bottle, keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and let it air dry fully with the cap off before storing. Minor scuffs can be gently buffed with a soft cloth and a few drops of alcohol-based liquid sanitizer.

Do you offer free shipping, and where do you ship?

Yes. AQUA VAULT offers free shipping on all items within India, with no minimum purchase required. At present, shipping is available only within India. International shipping is not yet available.

How long does delivery take?

Orders within India usually take 1 to 2 business days to process, followed by 5 to 7 business days for delivery. Delivery times may be affected by holidays, strikes, or weather conditions.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking link. Orders can also be tracked through the Order Tracking page on the website.

Can I ship my order to a different address?

Yes. During checkout, you can choose to ship to a different address, which is especially useful for gifts.

Do you offer free returns?

Yes, free returns are offered only in India, and conditions apply. Please refer our Return Policy.

What happens if my order is delayed or I need help with shipping?

If there is a shipping delay notice on the site, extra processing and delivery time may be required. For help with delayed orders or shipping questions, customers can contact support@aquavault.co and include their Order ID.
